Denmark’s Anders Vejrgang was crowned the UEFA eEURO champion following a magnificent victory over his RBLZ_Gaming teammate and Germany player Umut in the final.
It was an incredible, back-and-forth day for the Dane whose victory was marked by resilience and skill, helping him pick up his first major solo trophy of his career.

Denmark (Vejrgang) vs Ukraine (CIG_ST92)
Denmark’s Anders Vejrgang secured a semi-final victory over Ukraine’s CIG_ST92, but it didn’t come easy as he was forced to pull off a dramatic comeback.
Ukraine’s CIG_ST92 scored two goals early on, putting immense pressure on Vejrgang to find a way back into the game. Despite being 2-0 down, Vejrgang remained composed and fought back to turn the game around and earn a comfortable 4-2 victory.

Spain (AdrianCifuentes) vs Israel (yuval)
AdrianCifuentes and yuval had an incredible quarter-final matchup, with both exchanging the lead multiple times throughout.
Both players showed off plenty of technical skill throughout, and there was little that could separate the two as the game entered extra time. However, AdrianCifuentes was able to score the winning goal and ensure that Spain had a place in the next round.

Germany (Umut) vs Türkiye (iMertAL)
Umut earned a phenomenal victory against iMertAL, getting the win in the final seconds to send Türkiye’s representative crashing out of the competition.
iMertAL will be crushed to not make it through to the semi-finals, having had multiple opportunities to end the game. However, Umut’s experience and resilience proved to be the difference maker as he put the game to bed with a fantastic finish in the dying seconds.

Italy (Obrun) vs AndreasAA (Norway)
Although the game between Italy’s Obrun and Norway’s AndreasAA didn’t have many goals, it was still a tense affair as both players created plenty of chances throughout their match.
Andreas proved early on why the commentary team at UEFA eEURO 2024 referred to him as the ‘Rookie of the Year’ having achieved a lot already this season. He opened the scoring with a great goal, but wasunable to maintain the lead as Obrun eventually took over the game by scoring goals at crucial points.

Denmark (Vejrgang) vs Spain (AdrianCifuentes)
The FC community will be calling Vejrgang the 'Comeback King' after he fought back to earn an incredible win for a second time in the competition.
Spain’s Adrian Cifuentes punished Vejrgang for his slow start by scoring two goals, ensuring that it wouldn’t be an easy run to the finals for the Dane. However, as he did in his quarter-final game, Vejrgang fought back with 25 in-game minutes left.
Vejrgang wouldn’t be denied once he found his focus as he attacked Adrian’s defence relentlessly.

Germany (Umut) vs Italy (Obrun)
Umut delivered a sensational performance against Obrun to secure his spot in the finals. As many expected, Obrun tried to stifle the German representative’s offense, but Umut’s attacks repeatedly pierced his opponent’s defense.
It was a surprising performance from the Italian, who is known for being one of the better defenders in the game, but he was undone by Umut’s ferocious pressing and accurate shooting.

It was a battle between club teammates in the finals of the UEFA eEURO 2024, as Umut and Vejrgang battled for the chance to be crowned champion.
If fans believed this might be a boring match due to how well both players know each will be pleasantly surprised as both players went on the attack frok the very beginning. Umut shone brightly early, scoring a goal to ensure the pressure was on Vejrgang.
However, as we saw throughout the competition, Vejrgang will not stay down and that theme continued during the finals as he battled back to earn an incredible 4-3 win.
