Three FC Pro Open players from Group B will earn their spot into the FC Pro Open Finals on Matchday 6. One player will qualify and claim their place at the FC Pro World Championship. With so much still to play for and a stacked evening of matches in store, who will take a step closer to glory?
Emre To Continue Perfect Run?
Emre Yilmaz delivered an incredible run of victories on Matchday 2, winning all five of his matches and showing impressive resilience when coming from behind. The Team Liquid player will have his eyes on qualifying for the Finals and securing the automatic qualification spot to the FC Pro World Championships. Emre has the chance to become the first player to get 10 wins from 10 in the FC Pro Open Group Stage.
World Champion Pushing For The Finals
2025’s FC Pro World Champion ManuBachoore has never made it out of the Group Stages of the FC Pro Open. As we enter Matchday 6, the Dutchman sits third in Group B on six points.
However, it’s a precarious position: only three points separate him from the bottom of the table. The three players chasing him are Obrun (on 5 points), Darkley11 (on 4 points) and Caccia (on 3 points). With the margins this tight, every point will be crucial to secure a place in the Finals.
More Chapters In The RBLZ v Team Liquid Rivalry
With Umut (RBLZ) and Emre Yilmaz & ManuBachoore (Team Liquid) drawn in the same group, it means that there will be renewed competition between the two top Esports teams. On Matchday 2, Umut beat ManuBachoore 5-4, but lost to Emre Yilmaz 8-4. So the teams were level in head-to-head terms. But with a fresh batch of matches incoming, which team will hold bragging rights heading into the rest of the FC Pro Open?
