Levi’s Consistency Shines Through.
Team Liquid’s Levi de Weerd seems to just love playing in the FC Pro Open. The World No.6 topped his group in both the 2024 and 2025 Pro Open's and Matchday 4 showed he’s determined to extend that streak.
Levi won his opening two matches against Hhezers and then Nassada, before being dealt a 9-6 defeat by his Team Liquid teammate, Paulo Neto. In his fourth match, GugaFerraz held him to a 3-3 draw. It was in the final match of the night where Levi showed his class. Battling until the last moments to secure a huge 4-3 victory over GuiBarros to clinch the top spot in Group D.
Four-Draw Guga Struggles in Debut
Having gone 5-0 in the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier, the expectations for GugaFerraz were high going into Matchday 4. The young Brazilian struggled to settle into the flow of Group D, picking up four draws in his five matches, His only defeat came in the final round, a 5–2 loss to Hhezers. Despite not registering a win, Guga remains level on points and goal difference with GuiBarros, keeping his Knockout Stage hopes very much alive.
The Tightest Group This Season!
As the dust began to settle on Matchday 4, the group table made for interesting reading. Only 6 points separates both ends of the table, with no clear favourites emerging in the pursuit of securing a place in the Knockout Stages. As it stands, Levi, Hhezers and Nassada occupy the top three. With all three qualification spots still wide open, a breakout performance in Matchday 8 could transform the entire Group D landscape.
