The Virtual Bundesliga is Germany’s official EA SPORTS FC / Virtual football league, integrating club competitions, open qualifiers, and individual championships into a layered esports ecosystem. Players represent Bundesliga clubs in the VBL Club Championship, compete in VBL Open, progress through Playoffs, and vie for the Grand Final to be crowned German eFootball champion.

In addition to the individual Grand Final trophy, the VBL awards a Club Championship trophy, and a VBL International Series trophy for global regional events.

Because of this structure, success in the VBL can overlap with FC Pro pathways. The top VBL performers may qualify for international tournaments like the eChampions League or the FC Pro World Championship via their result rankings.
